Many of the plants were tomato and other vine plants that need a structure to grown on to. The rods the gardeners were using were not completing this task very well so most of the plants had fallen and were laying out side the plant bed

The Module

The Module

In our design we wanted to create a hoop house that would not only help during the cold months but year round. Since our plant bed had many plants that needed structure we created a module that could provide structure year round and green house plastic could be added on to during the colder months.

The module is a cube with a set structure inside. The Model could be rotated to which ever position best fits the gardener's plants. We also made a top cube that could be moved to provide structure for the gardener's tallest plants.

We wanted to make sure that if kids decided to the Hoop House was better suited for a jungle gym that no one would get hurt. Josh was testing that.
